Incidentally, if you look around your island the day after a rainstorm, you might also find fully formed Gyroids in ground cracks. Wait until the next day, then go dig up the hole, and you’ll get a fully-formed Gyroid, ready to shake its groove thang. Keep doing that and watch it grown like a tree would. Then, make sure to water the place where you’ve placed the Fragment. Do this wherever is most convenient for you. Just dig a hole, select the Gyroid Fragment from your inventory, and opt to bury it. You should see a little puff of smoke rise up out of the crack. To use ACNH Gyroid Fragments and get full Gyroids, you just have to bury them in the ground. ![]() Once you’ve got a Fragment, dig a hole anywhere on your island and drop the Fragment in there.Ĭover the hole up and give it a sprinkle of water with any watering can. You can dig Gyroid Fragments out of the ground on the islands that Kapp’n takes you to on his boat tours, and you’ll get one for free from Brewster when you first meet him. You can actually grow Gyroids just like plants, but first, you need the right materials.
